Hair Trends of 2017 That Might Make You Want To Change Your Hairstyle

4 Min Read

New season, new you. Or at least new hair-do. It’s no secret that hair trends come and go – but these five are here to stay, at least for this season. Here are the hair trends of 2017 to be on the lookout for!

Super Sleek as one of the Hair Trends of 2017

It’s time to take the flat iron for a spin again – straight and shiny hair is one of the biggest hair trends in 2017. But this style only works if your hair looks healthy – so make sure to keep it moisturized and nurture it with the right productsvitamins and supplements.

The High Ponytail

Slick your hair up, as high as you can. The high ponytail is known for adding both elegance and ease to whoever pulls it off. You can either wear it stick-straight or in a more rumpled texture.

Flat Waves

Do not mix this trend up with casual beachy waves, because these beauties are made with a flat iron. Waves created with a straightener are more subtle and give a little less glam impression – and this season they’re hotter than hot. Mist a heat protectant through your hair before touching it with a straightener to help your hair stay in good shape longer.

2016 was a good year for cutting bangs and if there ever was a hit, this was it. Don’t fret – those bangs will eventually grow out. In 2017, we’ll see the beautiful results of that. The grown-out bang is best worn with hair that hits just past the shoulders. Split it down the middle and you’ll be a trendsetter among your friends.

The majestic hair flip

Sometimes you don’t have to go big or go home – the hair flip has proven that from time to time. Not only is this hairstyle the easiest one to copy but it also creates tons of volume as a result. Just flip you hair from one side to the other and you’re ready to go!
